Our first meeting of this new quilt year was held on Sept. 25/08.  Sylvia and Marianne organized a programme for learning about crazy quilting.  They brought completed samples, muslin foundations for everyone and piles of fabrics to work with.  This meeting was spent assembling the crazy quilt patch with some time to start learning about embroidery stitches to use.  Next session we will be continuing to work on these squares to embellish all the seams and fabric with a variety of stitch designs.
